Bio:

Dr. Siyang Tian is a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Sussex. He received his Ph.D. in Finance at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass). He previously held positions at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and the University of Greenwich. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Washington and at Tsinghua University. His research interests are in areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, Fintech and corporate finance, and sustainable finance. His papers have appeared at conferences such as CICF, FMA, and AFA Poster sessions, and in leading journals including the Journal of Banking and Finance. His case study and teaching notes have been published in Ivey Publishing.
